Business Development Manager (Oil and Gas Sector- Agriculture-Supply Chain & Logistics)

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager in the oil and gas sector with the overall goal of driving sustainable sales growth in our consulting, training, and software solutions offerings, and with a passion for building strong and lasting relationships with clients.

Description

  • Experience in both the project management and sales side of running a business
  • Strong customer service and sales skills for generating leads
  • Advanced presentation and persuasive skills
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building meaningful relationships with clients
  • Extensive knowledge of productivity tools and software
  • Attention to detail and organization skills for honing in on each necessary task
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy to follow up with leads and determine new industries to pursue
  • Manage members of the business development team
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Monitor industry news and developments to stay up-to-date on potential opportunities
  • Lead negotiation with potential clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
